![]() ![]() ![]() The only reason you do that is if you see a cashgrab. If you care about a franchise/game, you don't give the developers only 1 year to make it. Also, the version that released is different to the one that they last worked on in house so thats why there were a load of bugs that should have been obvious to find (like characters being invincible or not spawning in). They brought in another studio to make Spyro 3 so Toys for Bob had very little to do with that game, and they also brought in a lot of contract workers to help them finish both games. Production of Spyro 2 and 3 is rumoured to have started around June 2018 (keep in mind the release date was meant to be September 2018 at this point). Toys for Bob cared a lot about the franchise, but also misjudged how long it would take, and thats why Spyro 1 is the best remaster of the lot because they worked on it for much longer. Then they decided to let Toys for Bob make a Spyro remaster for release on Spyro's 20th Anniversary (which already tells you all you need to know, Anniversary releases are rarely a good idea). ![]() They used that game to see if remakes would sell well and sure enough they did. Enjoy all three of the original games with enhanced HD graphics enjoy gameplay from old flames including Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Riptos Rage And Spyro. From what Devs have said, it seems like the game only went into production just after Crash remastered came out. < The Nintendo Switch Version will be out next year hopefully. This was definitely one of Activision's biggest cashgrabs. Apparently, theres a remaster of the original Spyro The Dragon PS1 trilogy coming in. ![]()
